Relay Consent
Blanket permission to retransmit or relay WCPE to the public.

You may not realize that a number of educational radio
stations across the country relay our programming so their listeners can hear our
Great Classical Music.
We offer our programming without charge or royalty to stations who are not in a position to program their own stations around the clock. We believe it helps the local station
gain a better listenership because they do not need to go off the
air, and it helps us fulfill our mission to make Great Classical
Music available to everyone 24 hours a day.
The stations receive our signal from standard audio
subcarriers broadcast on the AMC-1 Satellites. Anyone with Ku-band (small dish) home satellite
equipment can listen to us. Our signal is transmitted directly to the satellite over our own
uplink; this ensures the best fidelity possible.
This service is offered as is, with all WCPE announcements and verbiage; in return, we offer a thirty second identification/promotional opportunity every hour and we offer to share any gifts from identified listeners to those carrying our audio. Read our Retransmission
Consent. (FCC 76.64 Retransmission Consent doesn't restrict systems from carrying WCPE-FM because WCPE is a non-commercial station.)
If you are interested in hearing WCPE on one of your local radio stations, please contact us. Customer demand is the key to WCPE's Great Classical Music being heard in your area, so also be sure to let your local station know you wish them to carry WCPE.
For more information or assistance, please contact
our Outreach Director, Curtis Brothers. Thank you!
Our current list of WCPE Partner Radio Stations across the country:
To the best of our knowledge, this list is up to date and accurate. However, the managements of these organizations can, and do, make changes to their channel lineups and program schedules without notifying WCPE.
